# Call Authentication

Voice authentication ensures callers and patients are who they say they are.

## Authentication Options

* Date of birth verification
* Member ID lookup
* Caller ID matching
* Multi-step verification

## Enabling Authentication

In **Agent Settings**, toggle:

Authentication: ON

Configure:

* Prompts for verification
* Required fields
* Failure handling
* Transfer routing on failure
